Common questions
Why don’t I see real restaurants?
CraveRoll needs location permission to find places near you. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → CraveRoll and choose While Using the App.
Why is the wheel empty or spinning fails?
Try widening the search radius or lowering the minimum rating in Filters. Very strict filters can leave no matching restaurants in your area.
How do reservations work?
When Google Places marks a restaurant as reservable and provides a website, CraveRoll shows a Reserve button that opens the restaurant’s site in Safari. CraveRoll does not take bookings directly.
Does the widget spin automatically?
Tapping the home-screen widget opens CraveRoll. If restaurants are already loaded, the app spins the wheel. On first launch it waits until nearby restaurants are ready.
How do I delete my data?
CraveRoll does not create an account or store personal data on our servers. Location is used only on your device to search for restaurants. To remove the app and its local data, delete CraveRoll from your iPhone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
